You Did -- Chuck Prophet

如果不是看了《teeth》这部电影，恐怕永远不会有机会听Chuck Prophet的音乐。这部电影首先相当不错，起码创意十足，片子结尾处的You Did是一支很有点Blue以及慢摇风格的曲子，配合Chuck Prophet的磁性声音，实在是完美的音乐体验。
上世纪的六十年代芩克·普罗菲特（Chuck Prophet）出生在南加里佛尼亚，他首次进入公众视线是出任当时佩斯利地下运动（Paisley Underground movement）倡导先锋乐团“绿中红”（Green on Red）乐队的主音吉他。在乐队1992年解散之后，芩克便开始专心于他的吉他独奏音乐生涯。芩克更加热爱传统的音乐风格，在他的音乐中你可以听到鲍勃· 迪伦式（Bob Dylan）的歌词，同时在吉他旋律和技巧上你又可以感觉到埃里克·克莱普顿（Eric Clapton）和凯斯·理查德（Keith Richards）这些大师的影子，而他的声音与汤姆·佩蒂（Tom Petty）又有着相似之处。由于芩克精湛的吉他技艺，众多的艺人和乐队都邀请他加入其音乐制作当中，其间较为知名的有：传奇艺人Bob Neuwirth，Hubert Huncke以及著名的吉他手Calvin Russell。而与老朋友Jim Dickinson合作录制的现场专辑“A Thousand Footprints in the Sand"则获得了巨大的好评。
